A structural consultancy works on other people's construction projects, not their own site — so it needs drawing revision control and formal audit reporting, not the site-progress logs a contractor needs. Generic file storage has no concept of a drawing revision, an approval status, or a structured inspection finding.

One drawing, from submission to approval
A structural drawing is submitted against a client's project: drawing number, title, and revision R0.
It moves to Submitted, then the client's architect raises a query — it moves to Revised, and a new revision R1 is submitted.
R1 is reviewed and moves to Approved — a real, queryable status, not "check the email thread."
A site inspection is later logged against the same project: findings, recommendations, and a Conditional rating pending a fix.
The consultancy's own team and the client both see the same real status, on the same project record.
