Pharmacy Cloud: never miss an expiring batch again.
A medicine inventory with batch number and expiry date — a live-computed status, never a stale flag someone forgot to update — plus a real received/dispensed/adjusted/expired-write-off stock ledger that actually moves the stock level, on top of Healthcare Cloud's real Prescriptions module.

Hardcoded Industry Logic
A stock count someone edits by hand is a stock count you can't trust.
A standalone pharmacy needs two things a spreadsheet can't reliably give it: an expiry status that's always current (not a flag someone forgot to update), and a stock level that's actually derived from real transactions instead of a number anyone can overwrite.
From batch received to stock dispensed
Every transaction actually moves the stock level — it's never just a log entry sitting next to a stale count.
Add the medicine batch
Name, batch number, and expiry date — a real, unique batch record, not a loose spreadsheet row.
Log every stock movement
Received, dispensed, adjusted, or written off as expired — each one a real transaction, not a manual edit.
Get an expiry status you can trust
OK, expiring soon, or expired — computed live from today's date, so it can never silently go stale.
Never oversell what you don't have
Dispensing or writing off more than is in stock is rejected outright — not a race condition waiting to happen.
Where this shows up in your day
Pharmacy Owners
Need to know exactly what's expiring this quarter.
A live status per batch, not a manual spreadsheet scan.
Pharmacists
Need to dispense stock without accidentally overselling.
The system rejects a dispense that would go negative.
Pharmacy Assistants
Need to log a new delivery quickly.
One RECEIVED transaction updates the real stock count.
Multi-Batch Pharmacies
Track many batches of the same medicine.
Each batch is its own real record with its own expiry.
One batch, from delivery to expiry
50 units of Paracetamol 500mg, batch BATCH-001, expiring in 8 months, are added to the inventory.
A RECEIVED transaction for 100 more units brings total stock to 150 — a real ledger entry, not a hand-edited number.
Over the following weeks, DISPENSED transactions reduce stock as it's sold — attempting to dispense more than remains is rejected outright.
As the batch nears its expiry date, its status automatically flips from OK to Expiring Soon — nobody had to remember to flag it.
Any units left unsold past expiry are logged as an EXPIRED_WRITEOFF, moving the real stock count to zero for that batch.

Healthcare Cloud
Pharmacy Cloud shares Healthcare Cloud's real Prescriptions module — a standalone pharmacy dispensing against prescriptions, not just walk-in sales.
See Healthcare CloudFinance
Unit pricing on each medicine feeds the same Finance module used for invoicing and reporting across the platform.
See Operations CloudModule Marketplace
Enable Medicine Inventory and Stock Transactions independently — Stock Transactions depends on Medicine Inventory already being enabled.
